This significant milestone showcases our unwavering commitment to sustainability and our proactive approach towards addressing climate change. What is Climate Active?

Climate Active is a government program that encourages businesses to measure, reduce, and offset their carbon emissions. By obtaining this certification, we demonstrate our genuine dedication to combating climate change and building a sustainable future.

At Inke Packaging, minimising our organisational carbon footprint and reinvesting in native reforestation is our way of giving back. To achieve this, we have implemented various initiatives aimed at lowering and offsetting our carbon emissions — this is evident in our carbon offset investment in renewable energy sources in developing countries and our partnership with One Tree Planted, which plants a tree with every online order (the equivalent material to produce 100 mid-size boxes). 

As part of our commitment with Climate Active, we are annually analysing our carbon emissions for ways to reduce our emissions from the get-go and offset any remaining carbon.

Over the next ten years, through our offsetting efforts and our partnership with One Tree Planted, we expect to:

• Plant nearly 50,000 native trees in Australia
• Remove approximately 10 million kg of CO2 from the atmosphere

Our commitment to offsetting all emissions even extends to our external delivery partners, through our partnership with Shippit as a freight management service means we offset all of our carbon emissions with every online order.
